Lead Details & Visit Journey

Click any lead on the UTM Manager → Leads screen to open its detail view.

Lead details panel

Who this lead is, as far as the plugin knows:

  • Visitor ID — the anonymous first-party ID that ties all their visits together.
  • Email — captured when the visitor was logged in to WordPress during a visit, or attached by a Pro form or WooCommerce integration. Once set, it’s permanent.
  • WP User — the ID of the linked WordPress account, if any.
  • Total Visits — lifetime tracked page views.

Fields with no value are hidden rather than shown blank, so an anonymous lead simply shows its visitor ID and visit count. The lead’s first- and last-seen dates aren’t repeated here — last seen is a column on the Leads table, and the journey below is dated.

First Touch

The six UTM values (source, medium, campaign, term, content, ID) that were on the URL of this lead’s very first recorded visit. Only the ones that were actually present are listed.

First-touch data is written once and never modified — it always answers "what originally brought this person to us?" The landing page and referrer from that first visit are stored too, and are available to webhooks, the REST API, and code, though this screen doesn’t print them.

Last Touch

The UTM values from the lead’s most recent UTM-tagged visit. This updates every time the lead returns through a campaign link and answers "what brought them back most recently?"

Comparing the two tells you a story: a lead with first touch utm_source=twitter and last touch utm_source=newsletter was discovered via Twitter but re-engaged by your email campaign.

Visit journey timeline

The page-by-page history of this lead, newest first, up to the 100 most recent visits. Each row shows:

  • Date of the visit
  • Page — title and URL of what they viewed
  • Source, Medium, Campaign — the values active on that specific view (blank for direct or internal navigation)
  • Referrer for that view

Use the journey to understand what content a lead consumed before converting — the pricing page they kept returning to, the blog post that first hooked them.

Deleting a lead

The detail view includes a delete action. It removes the lead and its entire visit history permanently.
