HOW IT WORKS

Your first post grid in two minutes

Install, pick your defaults, paste the shortcode. That’s the whole setup.

Post Showcase settings: enable shortcode, post type, post limit, display columns, orderby, order and excerpt length

Install the free plugin — search for “Post Showcase” under Plugins → Add New.

Open the settings — go to Settings → Post Showcase.

Choose your defaults — post type, number of posts and columns.

Set the order — sort by date, title, menu order, comments or random.

Paste the shortcode — add [pshowcase_shortcode] to any page or post.

Fine-tune per page — add attributes like columns=”2″ to override defaults.

Is there a live demo?

How do I display posts in a grid?

Add [pshowcase_shortcode] to any page or post. It uses your defaults from Settings → Post Showcase, and you can override them with attributes like limit=”9″ or columns=”2″.

Can I show products or custom post types?

Yes. Set post_type to any registered public post type, for example post_type=”product” for WooCommerce products.

Can I change the order of posts?

Yes. Sort by date, title, menu order, comment count or randomly, in ascending or descending order.

Can I add a heading above the grid?

Yes. Put the text between opening and closing shortcode tags: [pshowcase_shortcode]Latest posts[/pshowcase_shortcode].

Will it slow down my site?

No. It loads one small stylesheet and no JavaScript, and the grid uses your theme’s typography.
