The free plugin gives every order a driver and a timeline. Delivery Manager Pro turns that into a real dispatch operation: your own statuses, automatic assignment by zone, signed proof of delivery, customer notifications, and the numbers to prove it all works.

Custom delivery statuses

Build your own workflow — Assigned → Picked Up → Out for Delivery → Delivered, plus Failed Attempt, Rescheduled, Returned to Store and Cancelled. Each status has an icon, colour and customer-facing description, and can set a WooCommerce order status when it is reached.

Proof of delivery

Photo (straight from the phone camera), an on-screen signature pad, and recipient name — each set to Disabled, Optional or Required. Stored in the media library, hidden from anyone who cannot manage WooCommerce.

Delivery reports

Drivers and admins add notes per order — internal by default, or flagged visible to customer. A note can be required on failed and returned deliveries, and every note is mirrored into the WooCommerce order notes.

Do I need a courier account or a delivery API?

No. This plugin manages your own delivery staff. Navigation, calling and WhatsApp use plain deep links, so there are no API keys, no third-party accounts and no per-delivery fees.

How do delivery drivers use it?

They log in to your site like any customer and open My Account → Deliveries. They see only the orders assigned to them, with the address, contact details and items — never other customers’ orders, and never payment details unless you switch that on. With Pro, they also get Today / Active / Completed / Failed tabs, search, an on-duty toggle and Navigate / Call / WhatsApp buttons.

Can orders be assigned automatically?

Yes, with Pro. Define zones by postcode, city, state, country or WooCommerce shipping zone, attach drivers to them, and choose round robin or least loaded assignment. Only on-duty drivers with free capacity are considered; if nobody is available, the order stays unassigned, and an order note explains why.

What exactly does the customer see?

A delivery timeline on their order details and order-received pages. With Pro, you control it: the driver’s name, notes you have flagged as public, and the proof-of-delivery summary are each on/off, the accent colour is yours, and a public tracking page lets customers follow along without logging in.

Is it compatible with HPOS?

Yes. Both plugins declare High-Performance Order Storage and Cart/Checkout Blocks compatibility, and the admin metabox, orders-list column, filters and bulk assignment all work on HPOS and legacy order storage.

What happens to my data if I deactivate Pro?
