The dashboard is the plugin’s home screen — open UTM Manager in the admin menu. It gives you an at-a-glance answer to "how are my campaigns doing?"
Summary cards
At the top you’ll find the headline numbers:
- Total leads — unique visitors recorded (one lead per visitor, however many times they return).
- Total visits — every tracked page view across all leads.
- New · 14 days — leads whose first visit falls within the last fortnight, matching the chart below.
New-leads trend chart
New Leads Over Time is a day-by-day bar chart covering the last 14 days. It’s keyed on each lead’s first-seen date, so it charts genuinely new visitors — a returning lead doesn’t inflate the trend. Days with no new leads show as empty, so gaps are honest. Hover a bar for the exact date and count.
Use it to spot campaign launches working (a spike after your email blast) or channels drying up.
Top breakdowns
Three widgets rank your top six values by lead count:
- Top Sources — e.g. google, facebook, newsletter
- Top Mediums — e.g. cpc, email, social
- Top Campaigns — e.g. black-friday-sale
These are based on each lead’s last-touch values (their most recent campaign). Together with the trend chart, they tell you both how much traffic converts to leads and where it comes from.
Every value is a link: clicking one opens the Leads table already filtered to it — the quickest route from a number to the actual people behind it.
Reading the numbers
- A source appearing in the breakdown means at least one lead’s most recent UTM-tagged visit carried that value.
- Case matters:
Googleandgooglecount separately — keep your campaign URLs consistent (see Quick Start). - Leads whose visits never carried UTM parameters (direct traffic) have no source/medium/campaign and don’t appear in the breakdowns, but they do count toward totals.
Where the data comes from
All dashboard numbers are computed from the plugin’s indexed custom tables, so the dashboard stays fast even with tens of thousands of leads. Nothing is fetched from external services.
Going further (Pro)
The dashboard covers a fixed recent period. UTM Manager Pro adds a Reports screen with selectable date ranges (today through all time), clickable breakdowns that jump straight to the filtered leads, and extra panels for country, device, browser, and each of your custom parameters. See Reports & Attribution.
