Your license key unlocks the Pro features, updates and support. You’ll find it in your purchase receipt email and in your BeautifulPlugins account.
Activating
- Install and activate all three: WooCommerce, the free Delivery Manager for WooCommerce (v1.2.0+), and Delivery Manager Pro. See Installation.
- Go to Plugins. The Delivery Manager Pro row carries a license field (there’s also a License link in the plugin’s action links).
- Paste your license key and click Activate.
- The status changes to License is valid — the Pro features switch on and updates start appearing on your Plugins screen.
Everything to do with the license lives on that Plugins row — Activate, Deactivate and Check License. There is no license field on the Delivery Manager settings page.
Until the license is valid, Pro is inert. Its database tables are created and kept up to date, but no feature classes load and nothing about the free plugin changes. Your data is never at risk from an expired key.
The plugin re-checks your license in the background (weekly, alongside WordPress’s own update check), so an expired, renewed or upgraded license is reflected automatically. Check License on the Plugins row forces a re-check immediately.
Moving a site
Licenses are tied to activated sites. Moving from staging to production, or to a new domain? Click Deactivate on the old site first, then activate on the new one. If the old site no longer exists, manage your activations from your BeautifulPlugins account.
Troubleshooting
“Invalid license” or “This appears to be an invalid license key” — copy the key directly from your receipt or account page; watch for leading and trailing spaces.
“Your license key has reached its activation limit” — your plan’s site limit is used up. Deactivate an unused site from your account page, or upgrade your plan.
“Your license key expired on …” — renew from your account page to keep receiving updates and support.
“Your license is not active for this URL” — the key is activated against a different domain. Deactivate it there, or add this site from your account page. Note that example.com and www.example.com count as different URLs.
“Your license key has been disabled” — contact support.
Updates not showing — confirm the status reads License is valid, click Check License, then visit Dashboard → Updates and click Check Again.
Pro features missing even though the license is valid — check that the free plugin is active and at version 1.2.0 or later, and that WooCommerce is active. Pro boots on a hook the free plugin only fires from 1.2.0 onwards, and shows an admin notice when the dependency isn’t met.
