All settings live under AI Content Writer → Settings, organized into tabs. With Pro active, two more tabs appear: SEO Pack and Automation.
General
- Allowed Hosts / Default Host — the hosts Articles campaigns may scrape. Currently Bing is the supported host.
- API Model — the AI provider used by instant generation and the editor assistants (campaigns pick their own provider via their type). All configured providers appear here, including Pro ones.
- SEO Integration panel — shows which SEO plugin was detected (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, or SEOPress). See SEO Integration.
- Meta Description Fallback — output a basic meta description tag for generated posts when no SEO plugin is active (auto-disabled when one is).
- Enable Image Generation — the global switch for featured images.
- Enable Redirection — whether instant generation redirects you into the post editor after creating a post.
- Log Retention — how long log entries are kept before automatic cleanup (1 day to forever).
API Settings
- Gemini API Key & Model — with automatic model-list loading and a Test Connection button.
- ChatGPT API Secret Key & Model — same.
- Claude / DeepSeek / OpenRouter (Pro) — the Pro provider keys and models appear on this tab.
- Image Source — Pexels, Unsplash, Pixabay, or DALL·E (Pro), with per-service API keys.
All keys display masked after saving (••••••••1234); leave the masked value untouched to keep the stored key. See API Keys & AI Providers.
Not seeing a newly added model? Model lists are cached for 24 hours. Click Test Connection for that provider to fetch the current list, then reload the page.
Image Generation
The global image toggle, mirrored from General for convenience.
SEO Pack (Pro)
- FAQ Generation — add an FAQ section (1–10 questions) with FAQPage schema to every article.
- Related Articles — internal linking section with a configurable link count.
- SEO Score Gate — hold posts below a minimum score (0–100) as drafts; configure the minimum score and word-count threshold.
- Cite Sources — append a nofollow source link on scraped campaigns.
Automation (Pro)
- Drip Publishing — spread campaign posts out with a randomized gap (min–max minutes) instead of publishing instantly.
- Publishing Window — only publish between chosen hours in your site’s timezone.
- Posts Per Day — a per-campaign daily cap; overflow rolls to the next day.
- Webhook URL — POST a JSON payload to any URL (Zapier, Make, n8n) whenever a post goes live.
