Your license key unlocks Pro updates and support. You’ll find it in your purchase receipt email and in your BeautifulPlugins account.
Activating
- Install and activate both plugins — free AI Content Writer (v2.4.0+) and AI Content Writer Pro. See Installation.
- Go to the license page under the AI Content Writer admin menu.
- Paste your license key and click Activate.
- The status should change to Active — Pro features unlock and updates begin appearing on your Plugins screen.
The plugin re-checks your license in the background periodically, so an expired or upgraded license is reflected automatically.
Moving a site
Licenses are tied to activated sites. Moving from staging to production, or to a new domain? Deactivate the license on the old site first (same license page), then activate on the new one. If the old site no longer exists, manage activations from your BeautifulPlugins account.
Troubleshooting
“License key mismatch” or “invalid key” — copy the key directly from your receipt or account page; watch for leading/trailing spaces.
“No activations left” — your plan’s site limit is reached. Deactivate an unused site from your account page, or upgrade your plan.
“Expired” — renew from your account page to keep receiving updates and support. Pro keeps working after expiry, but without updates you’ll miss compatibility and feature releases.
Updates not showing — confirm the license status is Active, then visit Dashboard → Updates and click Check Again.
