Your license key unlocks the Pro features, updates and support. You’ll find it in your purchase receipt email and in your BeautifulPlugins account.
Activating
- Install and activate both plugins — free Image Generator (v1.8.0+) and Image Generator Pro. See Installation.
- Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins. Below the Image Generator Pro row you’ll find the license box (the License link in the plugin’s actions takes you there).
- Paste your key into Enter your license key and click Activate.
- The status changes to License is valid. — Pro features unlock and updates begin appearing on your Plugins screen.
The plugin re-checks your license in the background periodically, so an expired or renewed license is reflected automatically. Click Check License to refresh it right away.
Moving a site
Licenses are tied to activated sites. Moving from staging to production, or to a new domain? Click Deactivate in the license box on the old site first, then activate on the new one. If the old site no longer exists, manage activations from your BeautifulPlugins account.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid" or "key mismatch" — copy the key directly from your receipt or account page; watch for leading/trailing spaces.
"No activations left" — your plan’s site limit is reached. Deactivate an unused site from your account page, or upgrade your plan.
"License is expired." — renew from your account page to keep receiving updates and support. Templates that use Pro layers and tags keep rendering after expiry, but without updates you’ll miss compatibility and feature releases.
Updates not showing — confirm the status is License is valid., then visit Dashboard → Updates and click Check Again.
Pro shows a notice about the free plugin — Pro needs the free Image Generator plugin, version 1.8.0 or later, installed and active. Update the free plugin from Dashboard → Updates.
