Set up a campaign from the familiar WooCommerce product screen.

Group buy product settings tab: group price, goal quantity, maximum quantity, per-customer limits and campaign schedule

Install the free plugin — search for “Group Buy for WooCommerce” under Plugins → Add New.

Choose your defaults — go to WooCommerce → Settings → Group buy for badges, terms and progress options.

Create a product — pick the “Group buy” product type.

Set the deal — enter the group price, goal quantity and optional limits.

Schedule it — add a start and end date for the campaign.

Publish and share — customers join, and the plugin handles the result.

Is Group Buy for WooCommerce free?

Yes. The plugin is free on WordPress.org.

When are customers charged?

Customers pay at checkout as usual. Their order is then held in the “Awaiting group” status until the campaign ends. If the goal is reached, the order moves to Processing.

What happens if the goal is not reached?

Orders are refunded automatically through the payment gateway. Cash on delivery orders are cancelled, and orders paid with manual methods are put on hold for you to review.

Can a customer join more than once?

Yes, within the per-customer limits you set. Limits are counted across all orders by account and billing email.

Can group buy products be mixed with other products in the cart?

You decide. The mixed carts option in WooCommerce → Settings → Group buy controls this.

Will it work with my theme?

It uses standard WooCommerce templates, which you can override in your theme. It supports both block and classic checkout and is HPOS compatible.

Does it send data to external services?

No. The plugin makes no external requests and uses one small database table on your own site.
