Requirements
- WordPress 6.0 or later (tested up to 7.0)
- PHP 7.4 or later
- Any theme — Bloqra works with block themes and classic themes alike
- No API keys, accounts, or external services are required for the free plugin. A few Pro blocks (social feeds, Google Reviews, YouTube Feed, Google Maps) use platform credentials — see Pro Blocks & Settings.
Installing the free plugin
From your dashboard (recommended):
- Go to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for “Bloqra”.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
Manual upload:
- Download the ZIP from WordPress.org.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, and click Install Now.
- Activate the plugin.
There is no settings page and nothing to configure — after activation, open any post or page in the block editor, click the block inserter (+), and search for “Bloqra” or the block name (Accordion, Slider, Pricing Table, …). All Bloqra blocks are grouped together in the inserter.
Installing Bloqra Pro
The Pro add-on extends the free plugin — you need both active:
- Make sure the free Bloqra plugin is installed and active.
- Download the Pro ZIP from your BeautifulPlugins account.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the ZIP, and activate it.
- Activate your license to unlock automatic updates and support.
Activating Pro adds the 21 Pro blocks to the inserter and a Settings → Bloqra Pro page for the credentials used by the social feed, review, and map blocks.
Updating
The free plugin updates through WordPress.org like any other plugin. Pro updates appear on your Plugins screen once your license is active. Keep both plugins on their latest versions — Pro releases are matched to free releases.
Updates never touch your content: blocks you’ve already placed keep their saved markup, and block improvements apply automatically the next time you edit.
