Reports

The Reports screen shows how your demos are performing over time, so you can measure interest in your product and see how many trials turn into activations.

Where to find it

Network Admin → Demo → Reports

What it shows

The report summarizes demo activity across your network:

  • Demos created — how many sandboxes were requested/created.
  • Demos activated — how many visitors followed their link and actually entered a sandbox.
  • Expired / cleaned up — how many sandboxes have been purged.

Use the gap between created and activated to gauge how compelling your call-to-action and welcome email are: a low activation rate often means the verification email isn’t landing or isn’t persuasive. See Notifications to tune the email, and Troubleshooting if emails aren’t being delivered.

Exporting data

TryDemo can generate a CSV export of demo data (via the admin action tdemo_generate_csv) so you can analyze signups in a spreadsheet or feed them into another tool. Look for the export control on the Reports/Demos screens.

Tips for reading your numbers

  • Rising created + flat activated → your form is getting attention but the email step is losing people. Check deliverability and the welcome copy.
  • High activated + short sessions → consider extending the demo lifetime so visitors have time to explore.
  • Lots of demos from the same address → enable reCAPTCHA or temporarily disable new registrations.
